RunLites Safety Gloves

Guest Reviewer, Meredith, tested out some wearable safety gloves, RunLites.

About Runlites:

RunLites are a hands-free, wearable safety glove with a built in flashlight. It’s perfect for any type of nighttime or low-light activity, from running, walking and cycling to hunting, hiking or other everyday activities. The gloves provide a 135-degree radial arc of light up to 15 feet ahead to increase the wearer’s visibility and has a reflective strip and adjustable power options to help the pedestrian be seen.

Meredith’s thoughts:

The Good

The light on this glove is very bright and has a long battery life. The lights have two settings, low and high, which can be adjusted based on the setting. These are more comfortable than a headlamp and do a good job of illuminated the path in front of you. They are great for trail running or running in areas without a lot of street lights. The lights are rechargeable and are easy to use due to their one touch on/off button. Gloves are brightly colored with a reflective strip to increase visibility.

The Bad

The gloves can start to feel a bit heavy after sometime. Because these gloves are fingerless, they aren’t ideal for use in extreme cold conditions.
