We love a collaboration, especially when it’s two brands who should’ve hooked up way back in college
This collection is loaded with tons of Tracksmith cuts in curated J.Crew colors
Available now for $65 to $198
We love collaborations. There’s not much better than seeing how two different brands can come together to create something entirely new. It’s even better when the two brands that team up feel cut from the same cloth. Take Norda and Satisfy, for example — two high-end brands with a lot in common. It only makes sense that they’d team up for a take on the 001.
Sometimes, however, we get something entirely out of left field. Or, from the infield, about three feet in front of the batter’s box. In this case, the preppiest running brand (Tracksmith) teaming up with the preppiest folks in the clothing business (J. Crew).
Honestly, we’re surprised this didn’t happen sooner. Especially since the all-new Tracksmith Eliot Runner looks like a second-cousin of the Nike Killshot, long a collab staple within the pages of the J. Crew catalog. But let’s be real– everything from Tracksmith looks like it could be in the pages of J. Crew, so it was just a matter of time before they actually did.
While the release is fresh, there’s no special story behind the apparel, no major milestone to celebrate, just solid designs with solid color choices. And we’re okay with that.
Let’s take a look at what the two brands cooked up.
Like we said, there aren’t any new pieces for the Tracksmith x J.Crew collection, but there’s still a ton to sink your teeth into. The collection is a mix of cozy options like the Trackhouse Hoodie and performance picks like the Van Cortlandt singlet and shorts (still our favorite running shorts of all-time). Choices also vary between men and women, with the fellas getting more accessory love from options like gloves and socks while the ladies get most of the VC goodness.
Maybe the best news is that the Tracksmith x J.Crew collection doesn’t come with any extra pricing markups. Everything is set at the standard Tracksmith rate, so it’ll vary between $65 for the Van Cortlandt singlet and $198 for the Bislett pant. Here’s a quick rundown of what the collection includes:
Men: Trackhouse hoodie ($120), Van Cortlandt Grand shorts ($68), Charles sunglasses ($255), Fells turtleneck ($128), Harrier gloves ($38), Harrier long-sleeve ($84), Bislett pant ($198), tube socks ($20)
Women: Van Cortlandt singlet (three colors, $65), Van Cortlandt shorts (three colors, $65), Downeaster half-zip (two colors, $148), Bislett pant (two colors, $198)
It’s tough to go wrong either way, and the collection is already live, so head to the button below if you want a little more Tracksmith and a lot more J.Crew in your wardrobe.
