Intro

We have no problem admitting it: We love Ombraz sunglasses. Once you go armless, you just don’t go back. It seems impossible– they can’t be comfortable right? They’re the most comfortable sunglasses we’ve ever worn. We recently wore them for a 50K and they performed flawlessly.

As you would expect, there’s a near 100% chance you’ll find Robbe either wearing (one of) his pairs, or at least hanging it around his neck for easy access. Hands down, it’s his favorite sunglasses for running, biking, swimming, lounging, and everything in between. Now, there are even more Ombraz frames to choose from, just in time for summer.

The famous armless brand already offered the Classic, Dolomite, and Leggero frames in a number of custom configurations, but it’s time to welcome the Teton and the Viale to the family. Each style comes with a few unique wrinkles, so let’s take a quick look at the new shades.

Even if you don’t need new running sunglasses, just go over to Ombraz and check out the incredible photoshoots for the new frames.

Viale

The Viale is Ombraz’s take on a classic round shade — think of the Dolomite with a modified bridge. It draws on some classic styles for inspiration with a keyhole-style bridge and plenty of classic color options. As always, the Ombraz Viale comes with a Japanese-woven, 100% recycled cord to lock it right to your head. It’s built for summer workouts with thicker lenses to keep out the sun and an oleophobic coating to keep sweat at bay.

Robbe has been wearing this model for the past month and has had countless “Dude, what are those sunglasses?” questions lobbed at him during that time. His kayak guide bought a pair straight away.

Ombraz even learned from its past designs, adding small side flares to block glare and reengineering the nose pads for better ventilation and comfort. If you’re ready to customize, the Viale comes in two sizes — Narrow and Regular — and three colors: Tortoise, Charcoal, and Dusk. Add polarized grey, brown, and yellow lenses, or non-polarized grey or brown ones to the mix, and you’ve got… a lot of options.

Customize the Viale and order your pair starting at $150 below (use code BITR25 to get $25 off).

Teton

Feelin’ square? You might be more at home in the Teton. Even if you’re not feeling square and you just have a big ass head, the Teton is the way to go. Instead of Narrow and Regular sizes, it’s set up for Regular and XL noggins. As for the Teton’s design, it’s equal parts Clubmaster and Wayfarer, just as elegant as it is functional. Even though it’s not the smallest frame in the Ombraz collection, it’s designed to be lighter than previous silhouettes, so it’s an even better option for running.

If you were jealous of the new and improved lenses on the Viale, don’t worry, they’re back. The Teton gets all the benefits of thicker smudge-resistant glass in just as many colorful polarized and non-polarized options. You can’t pick up a pair of Dusk frames, but Tortoise and Charcoal are ready to ship. Ombraz also has a Honey frame on the way if you’re willing to wait.

Build your Teton starting at $150 below (use code BITR25 to get $25 off).
