While we were all distracted with the Prime X 2 Strung, Adidas was quietly getting ready for the launch of its wildest shoe ever: the 4.8 ounce (!) (138 g) Adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1, a marathon racer that almost seems impossible. Here’s our first thoughts on the shoe (which we’ll be getting in soon for testing), which will be available in extremely limited quantities for fall marathon season. That is, if you get selected and if you have an extra $500 lying around. It will be released in two drops.
