When talking about colorful brands, nobody fits the bill better than Cotopaxi, the sustainably-made outdoor brand designing gear to fight extreme poverty and inspire adventure. Their designs are bold and exciting, which can also be used to describe Hoka, the risk-takers and trendmakers who single handedly made max-cushion running shoes a thing that has taken over the world.
A partnership between the two is a no-brainer, and while they’ve tried it before with a Cotopaxi Batac 16L backpack, this is the first time both brands will come together for a footwear and pack combo.

Releasing May 4, the drop will feature limited editions of the Hoka Anacapa Breeze Low and the Cotopaxi Kapai 3L Hip Pack – Del Dia. For outdoor adventurers or urban trailwear enthusiasts, the Anacapa Breeze Low is a perfect companion for summer days, featuring an ultra-ventilated, lightweight upper. Of course, comfort reigns supreme with a cushy midsole and extended Hubble heel. Throw in a Vibram Megagrip outsole (the best there is), and you have a solid all-arounder for any adventure.

Of course, for those day journeys you’ll need some quick access supply for your phone,snacks, water, and extra layers, and that’s where the Kapai Hip Pack comes in. A padded, fleece-lined compartment is ideal for a phone or sunglasses while a large main compartment holds a lot more than you think. A front accessory pocket is good wallet storage. We took this on some weekend excursions and it carries pretty much everything you need for an afternoon hike or impromptu adventure.
Also, we kind of love the top grab handle on this, just a nice touch. This also doubles a sling bag, and while it’s not mean for running like the Janji Multipass Sling Bag, it does offer more storage and a more robust construction, meaning you’ll have this for years.
