Hoka Stinson One7
Following a high-profile, limited-edition collaboration with Dover Street Market (DSM) in late November, Hoka has just released the Stinson One7 to the global market. The release isn’t just a new colorway; it’s a strategic hybrid that cements Hoka’s commitment to the “trail in the city” aesthetic, where technical mountain gear combines high-concept urban streetwear.

The execution is sleek, aggressive, and futuristic, clearly drawing on the brand’s on-point collaborations. The upper is constructed from a translucent mono mesh, a material choice that offers breathability while allowing the internal support cage to be visible, a deconstructed look popular in modern sneaker design. A 3D-molded TPU heel clip adds structural integrity and a sharp, sculptural element to the rear.
The launch collection drops in three distinct colorways: a tactical Black, a versatile Gray, and a vibrant Orange, alongside a striking Black Silver iteration that emphasizes the shoe’s technical layers. More colorways will roll out slowly.

What makes the One7 fascinating is its “Frankenstein” genealogy. It is a literal mash-up of Hoka’s history. The frame is lifted directly from the current Stinson 7 performance trail runner, featuring the stabilizing H-Frame™ technology and a plush CMEVA midsole known for conquering rugged terrain. Underfoot, it stays grounded in trail intent with multi-directional lugs.
The upper revives the ghost of the Stinson Lite, a fan-favorite from the archives. By fusing the lightweight, cage-supported upper of the Lite with the heavy-duty tooling of the 7, Hoka has created a hybrid that is lighter (approx. 9.8 oz) and more agile than its trail-focused sibling, optimized for the “door-to-trail” versatility that modern consumers demand.

The Hoka Stinson One7 is available now at hoka.com and select premium retailers for $185 USD.
