We’ve been lucky enough to get a lot of Saysky apparel into the office in 2022; you may have seen some of their pieces land in our Summer Gear Guide and recently-published Marathon Gear Guide. Their designs are certainly unique, maybe even off-the-wall, ranging from floral Hawaiian to polka dot to purple camo.
One thing’s for sure– it’s always a surprise when we see a new Saysky drop. The good news is that the apparel performs as good as it looks, so we’re happy to bring you some of our favorite pieces from the Fall 2022 collection, which also features a limited-edition collaboration with iconic Nordic brand Karhu. Some of the pieces in here (like the 100% merino winter cap) have become die-hard staples in our running wardrobe, and we hope they’ll find the same use in your own training lineup.
The official fall 2022 singlet of the Faster Bastards here in Baltimore, the Clean Combat looks, well– clean– and it performs admirably during combat duty (i.e. race day).
This particular version is a limited-edition collab with Karhu in a white-beige camo print, with the combined logos of Saysky and Karhu, which is honestly kind of rad. Made of 100% polyester, it’s extremely lightweight and thin but offers surprising warmth, but its waffle fabric construction provides solid sweat evaporation.

Call us crazy, but we love a jacket that performs well on the run, but looks equally good off the run. While we wouldn’t consider this the most technically-proficient jacket we’ve ever worn, it’s incredibly comfortable and will certainly work well in colder conditions. Utilizing SAYSKYDRY performance fabric, it offers protection from the wind with its elastic hood and outer shell construction. A reflective strip on the back allows for some visibility in darker conditions.
Bonus points for the soft (and very comfortable) cuffs with the thumbholes that add almost a throwback vibe to the jacket.

Shop Polka Pace Jacket
When running in colder weather, you always want a long sleeve shirt that’s tight to retain warmth, lightweight, moisture-wicking, and somewhat breathable. The Pace longsleeve is all of those things, offering a balance of recycled polyester and spandex, with a brushed interior for a super soft and comfortable feel.
It’s surprisingly warm for how lightweight it is, which means it will keep you both dry and comfortable on the run. Another collabo version of this one by NN07 is priced a bit higher than the other, but we do love the olive colorway, so maybe it’s worth it.

If you know anything about us and winter running, we love merino wool. And this hat is 100% of it and we can assure you it’s one of the best winter caps money can buy. At $51, it’s not cheap, but it regulates your head temperatures better than any other winter cap we’ve tried, meaning you won’t be pouring sweat underneath five minutes into your run. Plus, merino is unbelievably odor-resistant, which means you won’t need to wash it after every run.

buttonIf you haven’t tried two-in-one shorts before, now is a good time to try. For one, they eliminate chafing since there are no seams riding up on you. Second, they just look good.
The 5” inseam is our preferred length, and the polyester/spandex blend provide the right range of mobility for the run. Two inner gel pockets provide nutrition storage options while a zippered back pocket includes a sweat-repellent membrane to protect your phone. All of these things make this a good race-day option.
But of course, how do they actually feel? Pretty great. We’ve been wearing these shorts as the temperatures have come down and they look and feel great on the run, which is really all we need.

Agree, their 2-in-1 shorts are top of the line. Have used them for years and they are still as brand new and absolutely great for autumn and early spring running (I’m not a fan of long tights so I’d like to make that season as short as possible! The Long sleeve is also great and looks fabolous in white with a pair of black shorts! Love the Saysky style!
