It may come as a surprise that we, the elite team of athletes here at Believe in the Run, will not be running any of the events at the World Athletics Championships taking place over the next couple weeks in Eugene, Ore. We wanted to give the rest of the world’s athletes a time to shine, so we decided to not try out (you’re welcome, Sara Hall).
That said, we will still be running– a lot. And we want you to join us. But these aren’t just any group runs. These are specialty events hosted by Asics, featuring some of your favorite runners like Kofuzi, Deena Kastor, New Gen Track and Field, and yours truly. The Asics Van will be there and we’ll have shoe demos featuring the Asics Magic Speed 2 and the much-awaited Asics Novablast 3 (hell, even I haven’t run in that shoe yet). Each event has something special, from post-run breakfast to after-parties, so if you’re within a 24-hour drive or flight you should probably fight tooth and nail to get there.

Where: Autzen Stadium, 2700 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Eugene, OR
What: Run in the footsteps of the world’s most elite athletes as we start right after the men’s marathon on the same course. With your registration, you’ll receive an Uplift Oregon 5K race t-shirt, bib, and exclusive access to our post-race celebrations.
