Nike finally puts a new outsole on a trail shoe and it changes everything. We loved the standard Nike Pegasus Trail 4 for its excellent ride and overall comfort, but found the outsole grip to be lacking. Something has changed in the Gore-Tex version, because the grip is much improved. As a result, the Nike Pegasus Trail 4 GTX is a great road-to-trail shoe with a full React midsole and a sticky and grippy outsole. Excellent for winter running, whether on mild trails or city sidewalks.
