Everyone wants to be Hoka, some shoes just shouldn’t. Thomas and Robbe review the Altra Via Olympus (not to be confused with the Altra Olympus trail shoe), a max-looking shoe that… really isn’t max. An Ego Max midsole provides a dense but responsive ride and it feels much lighter on the feet than the weight suggests. It does have the old school natural Altra foot shape, so hardcore Altra fans will be quite pleased with that. Available now for $170.
