SAUCONY Salutes Boston's MBTA with Special Edition “Green Line” Kinvara 7 AND Triumph ISO2

To kick off Boston 2016, Saucony is celebrating with a salute to the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s (MBTA) Green Line, Boston’s most iconic subway line. The Green Line, the oldest subway system in America, and the Boston Marathon, the world’s oldest annual marathon, are celebrating their 120th anniversary next year, having both originated in 1897.

The Green line, which runs along much of the Boston Marathon course, transports tens of thousands of spectators every year during the race. In training for Boston, runners use it for speedwork, racing the “T” side-by-side down Commonwealth Avenue. Heck, even Rosie Ruiz enjoyed the Green Line’s proximity to the Boston Marathon course, jumping off the train a mile before the finish for the short jog to her 1980 “victory.”
