Our monthly dispatch of the best things brewing in run culture
The month’s best running drops, collaborations, and special releases
Bandit, Hoka, Saysky, Norda, New Balance & more
October is that in-between month when fall really starts to show itself—trees turn golden, Halloween decorations pop up, and there’s that lingering thought: Did I make the most of summer?
With winter around the corner, everyone’s gearing up! New releases are hitting the shelves, and running fits are changing—bringing in new layers, updated styles, and warmer materials.
This month was packed with releases, here are some of our favorites.
Architectural Vibes
Bandit’s Chicago Marathon capsule takes inspiration from the city’s iconic architecture, proudly carrying the bold name “Marathon Design Corp.” The collection channels retro vibes with blue hues and brutalist fonts that feel straight out of a vintage cityscape.
Camo Meets Trail Performance
Hoka’s Stealth Pack is back with two signature pairs—the Bondi 8 Caged and Tecton X 2. Camo lovers, rejoice! With features like Vibram® Megagrip outsoles and reflective details, these are designed to handle both city streets and rugged trails.
Healing Powers
Tiempos Running’s fall-winter line is here! Featuring updates to their beloved Maximum Tiempos shirt, plus fresh items like a sleek windbreaker and a long-sleeve tee with a mantra we all need: “Never Underestimate The Healing Power Of Running.”
Trail Running Gear Perfection
SOAR and Norda team up to create a seven-piece masterpiece of technical trail running gear. Think merino silk and STORM technology, wrapped up in designs inspired by the Japanese concept of “komorebi.” It’s style, performance, and color—like merino silk’s earthy tones and vibrant hues—all in one.
Winter Warmth Essentials
Saysky’s Blaze Collection has all you need for those frosty runs—layers of merino and fleece for ultimate warmth and comfort. With beanies, scarves, and vibrant styles, they’ve got your winter running vibe covered. They also announced the Polka Lights as part of their Fall/Winter collection.
Off-Route Fall Drop
Mexico City’s Hermanos Koumori brings us the “Off-Route” collection, perfect for pre- and post-run vibes. Earthy tones meet effortless street style in this small but mighty capsule, perfect for those chilled-out moments.
Form Follows Motion
This isn’t exactly a drop, but it’s a big one for running culture. The Vitra Design Museum’s new exhibit takes us through Nike’s evolution from the ‘60s until now. It’s a deep dive into iconic sneakers, design breakthroughs, and sustainability, running until May 2025.
Cultural Remix on Foot
Hoka teams up with designer Paria Farzaneh for a unique twist on the Restore TC Chukka. Jacquard patterns, metallic shines, and recovery comfort come together in this cool cultural remix.
Minimalist Trail
ICE STUDIOS and New Balance are reviving the Minimus Trail with a minimalist twist. These trail shoes balance vibrant pops of color with an off-white base, bringing barefoot-style running back with a bang.
Trail-Ready Clouds
On and POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) take us from road to trail with the “Current Form 2.0” collection. The Cloudventure and Cloudmonster 2 sneakers headline, paired with Zero Pants and Jackets in colorways like “Hay/Black” and “Yellow.”
