Fast cats and killer collabs, what more could you ask for? Harnessing their momentum in the run space on the world stage over the past few years, Puma has teamed up with Copenhagen-based Saysky with what may go down as one of the best mash-ups of 2025.
Some collabs are one and done. One release, one model, on to the next. Not this one. The teams went deep and wide with a full range of Puma x Saysky offerings, including three footwear models and a whole slew of men’s and women’s apparel.
The collection takes inspiration from the ocean, with artwork influenced by Hokusai’s “The Great Wave Off Kanagawa” and similar ukiyo-e woodblock printing styles. The end goal is to evoke the joys of running, its highs and lows, and “the importance of pushing boundaries.”
In the words of Lars C. Pedersen, Founder and CEO of Saysky: “Life and running are like the ocean – some days are turbulent, pushing us to our limits, while others offer moments of calm and reflection. Together, we embrace the highs and lows, knowing that it’s our unity and collective drive that make us stronger – and just like the waves found on these premium pieces, we are dynamic, ever-changing, and forever in motion.”
We’ve seen the collection in person during a visit to Puma HQ last month, and can tell you that the utmost attention to detail and design has been put into the collection, which is over a year-and-a-half in the making.
Of course, this isn’t our first rodeo with Sasky. We’ve worn Saysky apparel for the past few years and know that they’re always looking for ways to keep things fresh with a definable edge. But this set takes that vibe to the next level. It’s both clean and bold and the color palettes hit all the right spots.
On the Puma side, if there are any three models you want on your feet, it’s these: the Deviate Nitro 3 daily trainer (€180.00), Deviate Nitro Elite 3 race shoe (€240.00), and the ForeverRun Nitro 2 (€170.00), featuring light stability in a performance package.
Shop Puma Shop SayskyOn the other hand, the apparel is on point from top to bottom. Our favorite pieces are the French terry hoodie with the prowling puma coming down the back, the jacket and singlet with Hokusai-inspired wave pattern, the women’s run crop, and of course– the shoes, especially the one-off design of the Puma Deviate Nitro 3.
We suspect this collection will go fast, so make sure you pick it up during the first great wave.
