The Drop E52 | Julien Baker, Musician and Runner
ABOUT EPISODE 52
She wrote a song about marathon runners and sprained ankles before she was even a runner, so of course we had to have Julien Baker on the show. Julien is a songwriter from Nashville, and part of boygenius (with Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus). We loved hearing her perspective on running and talking about music and Netflix and everything in between (25:14). We also talk about the APL Streamline and Saucony Endorphin Speed 2 Runshield (13:50).
Catch Julien Baker on her North American fall tour (dates can be found on www.julienbaker.com). Songs in this episode can be found on all streaming platforms.
“Sprained Ankle” from Sprained Ankle by Julien Baker
“Faith Healer” from Little Oblivions by Julien Baker

Loved it! Julien is one of my favorite musicians & saw her a few months back playing here in Philly. I’m going to check out more of your podcasts since I started running a year ago
She’s really one of the nicest people ever, loved talking to her. Thanks for listening!
