Hoka and Satisfy Running collaborate with the Mafate Speed 4 Lite STSFY
First Lite version of the shoe, transparent upper with a soft microfiber collar, protective ripstop nylon, Vibram outsole, dual-layer ProFly midsole
Available August 9 for $210
If the first time is a hit, then hit even harder for round two.
Following up from its well received collab in Fall of 2023, Hoka and Satisfy have teamed up again for a limited edition trail shoe release in the Mafate Speed 4 Lite STSFY, available through the brand’s Highs and Lows VOL 2 collection launching on August 9. Both brands are hitting it out of the park right now, so it only makes sense for these rising tides to lift all ships.
An elevated design incorporates a lightweight and transparent upper with a soft microfiber collar, protective ripstop nylon, and a two-part ProFly midsole. A quick-lacing system comes stock, but an extra set of paracord-style laces are included as well. So while we already loved the Mafate Speed 4 as an aggressive technical running shoe and great training partner for the Hoka Tecton X, this all-new Lite version of the shoe should take things to the next level.
The shoe will come in two colorways, an earth-toned Sulfur for those who enjoy a more muted look, and vibrant Rubber for the runners who like to stand out on the trails. Of course, such a shoe is the embodiment of the gorpcore fashion trend which cuts across usage boundaries, so it has to be mentioned that it will work as well on the streets and sidewalks as it will in the wilderness. Part of that versatility is thanks to the always-reliable Vibram outsole of the shoe, which can handle any condition you’ll encounter on your adventures, from city sidewalks to slippery singletrack.
We’ve pretty much been on board with any Satisfy trail collab, from the Norda 001 to last year’s Clifton LS to the two partnerships with Crocs. This one keeps the tradition going with a shoe that truly incorporates some excellent improvements over the standard version. Of course, with such improvements comes a higher price tag– the standard Mafate Speed 4 is $180 while this version of the shoe will retail at $210.
Just know that if you do spring for it, you’ll be satisfied with your decision.
The Mafate Speed 4 Lite STSFY will be available for purchase beginning August 9, at HOKA.com, satisfyrunning.com, and select retailers worldwide.

Man, all these Hoka/Satify running shoes are gone in hours. Went on the site today, first day on 8/9 and they are all sold out on all sizes. Does that seem odd to you?
