Meaghan and Thomas review the Hoka Clifton 9, which is– in their opinion– the best one yet. Stack height increases by 3 mm, which gives it a bit more cushion underfoot. Also has an updated foam iteration for the midsole (still EVA), as well as a plusher heel and streamlined tongue. Stack height is 32 mm in the heel, 27 mm in the forefoot for men, 29/24 for women. Featuring an updated midsole formulation that makes it lighter without losing the cushion, it’s what the Clifton is meant to be.
