Winter is coming and warmth is on the way with the all-new partnership between run performance brand Ciele Athletics and legendary textile manufacturer Woolmark.
If you don’t know, we’re huge fans of wool here at Believe in the Run. We’ve done deep dives into merino and why you should wear it for winter running. Here in the office, I’m currently wearing a wool sweater as part of my cozy costume here at the end of October. When out on the run, I primarily use wool base layers in the winter months, and I’ll be going out soon for a lunch run on a 55F degree day in the new Ciele HLSThirt, part of this Woolmark collection. I mean, you probably get it by this point– we love wool.

Coming out of Canada, Ciele knows a thing or two about running in cold weather. They’ve applied that knowledge for this collection, which features a wide range of apparel for the winter months, including short and long sleeve shirts, balaclava, shiesty, and a few variations on the winter beanie.
This isn’t your average merino gear, though. Ciele took things to the next level with premium materials and construction. The short sleeve and long sleeve shirts feature a Sorino premium merino and silk-blend fabric that also provides UPF30+ protection. The beanies are Woolmark certified, taking decades of excellence and experience and infusing them into the Ciele line.

The end result is products designed to keep runners comfortable in a range of conditions, as merino offers unparalleled temperature regulation and odor resistance, while still maintaining a soft and pliable feel that adapts to any activity.
