adidas sent us some gear to check out.

Thomas: I went for runs in adidas Men’s Adizero Sprintweb Short Tight, adidas Men’s Supernova Singlet, and the adidas Men’s Supernova Short Sleeve.

Adizero Sprintweb Short Tight

The Sprintweb tight was my favorite piece of gear adidas sent. I ended up using these for a 50k and they did the trick when it came to protecting me from chafing. It was a hot day, over 70º F and the shorts felt light and airy while still providing some compression on the upper thighs. If I could change one thing about the shorts it would be the fit around the butt. I am guessing these are designed to accommodate someone with more of an ass than I have. The shorts didn’t fit perfect on my non-existant rear end. It wasn’t horrible, but I would prefer it to be a little more fitted.

The Supernova Singlet has a flattering cut (slim fit) and breaths extremely well. The racer back cut lets your back shed the heat. The reflectivity helps keep you safe off the track.

adidas Men’s Supernova Short Sleeve

The Supernova Short Sleeve can toggle between performance gear or a casual tech tee. I wouldn’t limit this shirt to running, it can handle the gym or any other activity. The fit is slim but not too tight.

Women’s Adizero tank

The women’s Adizero tank is a super lightweight, breathable top that’s perfect for warm weather or race day. It’s as close as you can get to only wearing a sports bra while still wearing a shirt. The added reflective details on the front & back are nice for early morning runs and the semi-fitted design creates a nice flattering fit.

adidas Women’s Supernova Short Sleeve Tee

The women’s Supernova short sleeve is my favorite piece of the three I received. It’s become an essential tee that I wear all the time. The fit is “relaxed,” but doesn’t look baggy. I love the crew-neck cut and simple design. Other than a few reflective logos and detailing, this is just your basic performance tee that is both comfortable and functional.

adidas Women’s Response Three-Quarter Tight

The Response Three-Quarter tights are super lightweight, designed to keep your skin dry during the warm summer days. Mesh panels run along the sides to help with ventilation. The fit was just OK for me. The internal drawcord makes it easy to get a snug fit around the waist, but if I ordered them again, I would size down. The back is designed with a small zipper pocket that’s perfect for a credit card or key.
