The Gemini is Under Armour’s most versatile trainer. It has enough cushion and durability for the long run and is responsive enough for speedwork. This shoe will work for most runners.

Let’s cut to the chase, The Under Armour Speedform Gemini 2 and Gemini are the same shoe (twins, get it?) with minor updates. If you liked the original, and we did, you will like Gemini 2. It would be redundant to review the shoe entirely. You can read the full review of the Gemini here. After some miles in Gemini 2, I was able to confirm the that the shoe feels the same as the original.

So what is new? Recently, we visited the footwear team at Under Armour and went over the Gemini 2 updates.

• New mesh over the front of the upper
• The toe-box is higher to create volume over the toes
• Additional foam “ArchForm” added in the arch and heel cup
• New TPU heel counter design
