Tracksmith’s Meridian Collection
Lightest fabrics for the hottest days, using VentAir technology in shorts and tanks for men and women
$85 for tanks, $95 for shorts, available at tracksmith.com
The sweaty season is upon us, and the Meridian Collection from Tracksmith is here to save the day. This all-new, lightweight collection of shorts and tanks falls somewhere between the existing Twilight and Strata collections and is designed to handle the heat of summer, utilizing lightweight fabrics and proprietary technologies to keep you cool.
It’s a simple solution, with only two pieces each for men and women. However, plenty of features abound, so let’s dig in.
The star of the fireworks show, the Meridian Short is a split short designed for cling-free comfort in the hottest temperatures. Featuring a performance knit made of nylon and Spandex, the shorts are featherlight with an ultrasoft liner and come with Tracksmith’s VentAir technology to help manage moisture. That said, the real star of the show is the storage space. Lined around the back and sides are eight (!) drop-in pockets, as well as a t-shirt loop that doubles as the brand’s signature race stripe in the center rear of the waistband. That’s enough gels to last you until the Turnover Tights come back out of the drawer. Lastly, bonded hems eliminate any potential chafing spots.
Shop The Short - Men Shop The Short - WomenAs with the shorts, the Meridian Tank also features VentAir technology and a four-way stretch knit that is sleek and soft. Also the same – bonded hems and merrow stitching ensure a chafe-free experience. Paired with the shorts, you’ll get a close-to-naked feeling without any of the embarrassment. Color-wise, the singlet comes in lilac and clover hues for both men and women. I mean, it is spring, but can we get a white singlet for the boys?
