Post Type = On

Swiss brand On, known for blending innovative athletic technology with sleek, futuristic aesthetics, has teamed up once again with Post Archive Faction (PAF), a Korean label renowned for its deconstructed, utilitarian, and avant-garde designs. This marks the second chapter of their ongoing collaboration, which was first announced last year.

Dystopian-Inspired Aesthetics

In this second iteration, the collaboration shifts its focus from road running to the more rugged demands of trail running. The gear is not only engineered to meet the physical demands of the trails but also to inspire those who appreciate the intersection of utility and style.

The campaign’s visuals exude a dystopian vibe, reminiscent of Ridley Scott’s Prometheus. If our society were space-bound, this collection could easily serve as our uniform. It’s futuristic, functional, and fashion-forward, a perfect reflection of both brands’ aesthetics.

Mostly Cloudy

At the heart of this collaboration are the limited-edition versions of On’s Cloudventure and Cloudmonster 2. Both models feature On’s signature CloudTec® cushioning, providing the responsive, springy feel. However, these shoes come with a PAF twist. Their sleek, industrial design incorporates muted, tonal colorways that perfectly reflect PAF’s deconstructed aesthetic.

But the collection isn’t just about footwear. It also includes apparel that balances high performance with a post-modern edge. We’re talking running jackets and pants that feature asymmetrical cuts, sharp lines, and functional materials—all with a futuristic, deconstructed look that feels right at home on the streets of Seoul or the trails of Zurich.

PAF’s Vision

Post Archive Faction thrives on challenging conventional fashion norms, merging historical references with the bold, technical style of modern-day techwear. PAF’s designs are for the fashion-forward, the ones who will happily discuss the unconventional shape of their pants. The seemingly simple designs are, in fact, carefully crafted and full of intricate details. This ethos is very much present in the collaboration.

The On x Post Archive Faction “Current Form 2.0” collection officially launches on October 24. It will be available through On’s website and select high-end retailers around the globe. You can pick up the pieces by using the shop links below.
